on google earth / maps it looks like you have to launch up at boat landing rd? is that where you launch your tinny from? or is there somewhere closer to the river mouth

Leeman is booked out

The Caravan Park is booked out for the Xmas break, but what buschy said is good, Sandy Gove just north of Jurien Bay is a top place to camp and from memory the caretaker lives their and I think you book through him, there is a tiolet/shower block but no power for camp sites, think the Faunkners have been there, we've just done the tourist thing, had a look, very nice place to camp, nice sheltered beach (bay) from memory, but don't know prices for camping.

You've also got Green Head caravan park, go past Jurien Bay then Green Head is next and further on Leeman.

my report from Hill River has a picture of the bay at low tide -

The camping spots are just behind the dune - I talked to the wife about maybe going there in the new year with friends. It looks like a great, secluded little spot without being too far out of town.
