fairly short notice

you might luck out, but I reckon you will be hard pressed to get a booking on most of the better charters, particularly for a week trip.

Nomad would be generally regarded as the pinnacle of charter operators.

tough circumstances

Wed, 2009-11-04 14:38

maybe try a charter for around the abrolhos islands - not too far away, but not too close to perth either. Short plane trip as I'm sure Joanne doesn't want a long drive / plane trip.

Ones I have heard good things about are:

hope that helps.

Haven't been on many

Haven't been on many charters, but my wife and I had an absolute ball on Nomad.

Fly out by seaplane from Hamilton Island and stay on the mother ship for a week.

You might get lucky if there are last minute cancellations.

you could try unreal charters in shark bay, they have a decent size boat and do longer trips than the 1 day, i have been on the day trips and they know how to put you onto the fish

blue lightning

i dont know if you have something organised but blue lightning is doing the run from dampier home to mandurah. They are currently at the monties and will be pulling in to exmouth in about 4 days time. I think they still have room to do the exmouth to canarvon trip. They fish all the way down. If you are really keen you could do the trip all the way to perth. His contact no is 0427956776 if you are interested.
