You get dunsborough!!! Awesome. Is it still normal wattage?
I have a gme tx4000r remote head uhf cb. Have a 6db gain poly antenna. Better then the fibreglass cos less likely to break. Also have a GME tx840B AM CB which currently needs an antenna.

yeah when the inversion or ducting is on they do travel long ways.
mine is a commercial uhf radio so its actually 25w so a lic is needed!
25w makes it good to squash the knobs that frequent the air waves.
where are you lukas?

Yep Busso
Yeah in busso street.
I thought you might have had a licence to do that. 25w certainly makes a big diff over the 5w. Do you receive the repeaters very well? What's the go with getting a licence?
Sherbert the 3200 is a good one. They survive pretty well in most fourbies. Tough little buggers.

Uniden
I run the top wazza Uniden , no probs with it so far .
Mainly use it when on the beach with up to 15 other vehicles wandering all over the place looking for fish.

The manpack!
Get your self a manpack if you can find one!
A mate had one and instead of the handheld one it is a normal one but with a gel pack of batteries. Lasts for days without recharging and has the benefits of an external antenna and more power.
Know a bit. Used to be right into it and have mates in perth that are all two way nerds. A couple are coms techs and can program radio's. They have channel 50 in their radios so no one can hear them when they are cruising.
You got selcall street?
