Herring, Tailor, Mulloway.
Herring, Tailor, Mulloway. Some reefy areas north of Wedge as well that can throw up all sorts.
Just look for some structure along the coast and when you find a spot you like give it a whirl. About 3k north of the beach entrance you will come to a fairly distinctive point - there is a lot a seagrass there so you might want to cast beyond it and see if anything is lurking.
Mulies are a safe bet...I can also put money on there being plenty of whiting around at the moment so you might want to take some worms or prawns too.

Long drive for a cold pie
Was heading up to wedge to weeks ago bright and early, lookin at catching something decent. Got to lancelin And stopped in at the bakory for breaky. Half hour later we got back in the car and headed to wedge. Entered the sand dunes then 2 minutes down the track we got stopped by a ranger saying, no access to wedge because of a fire. Tryed to talk ourselves through, but no luck. From there we drove all the way to white hills in mandurah, to catch a few bread and butter fish. Besides all the driving had a ball catching some bream and herring on some light gear.
