Submitted by Sea goat on Fri, 2018-06-08 16:47
hey guys.
wondering if anyone could suggest where to watch ufc 225 this sunday and fight times etc? my local has failed me :( seem to be heaps of venues for the horn/Crawford fight, but cant find any for the ufc (haven't looked at crown as not keen to head out that way)
either should be pretty entertaining!

Unsure where you're located
Unsure where you're located but my local the Kinsgway bar bistro is showing the ufc 225 PPV card. Starts as per usual time around 10am with the final bout expected to be around 12-12:30. Gonna be a good one

Horn will have to knock him out over there I reckon, tough ask. On another note, how good are the palmys at the Kingsway!

I notice the Oz
betting sites have followed that view with Horn being very much the outsider. Maybe they know something we don't. Judge's scoring within the boxing fraternity seems at times to be, for want of a better word 'bent'.

Without your location Crown
Without your location Crown would be the safest bet...bit of a clash wuth both events on same night in the US.
If i had a spare hungy id drop it on Horn without blinking...yous to like Teddy Atlas until he called the horn win against pacman a joke.
Horn for the Upset by stoppage.

Watched it live - humble
Watched it live - humble opinion he lost that fight. Got knocked down too many times and barely survived, Judges got it wrong sadly but a part is still happy the aussie took it.

Don’t think being made
Don’t think being made ineligible for the belt makes it right if you miss weight by that much...massive advantage if a guy like Whittaker strips so much weight to make weight (if he doesn’t as the title holder he has to hand over the belt)...the other guy comes in doesn’t strip weight keeps all his strength and gets to fight but just can’t get the belt if he wins...bull shit rules. Clear to see weight and energy advantage in the last round in particular.
agree Whittaker could have refused to fight him but could you imagine the outcry on ppv plus whitt8ker career would be over.
Pretty sure in other fight sport you wouldn’t be allowed miss weight by that much and still be allowed to fight

Romero missed by 0.2lbs -
Romero missed by 0.2lbs - that is literally 80grams. Not to mention the commision gave him 2 hours to make the weight but cut him short 40mins in. Media makes it seem worse than it is but reality is it was minuscule what weight he missed.

A champion dont miss weight
A champion dont miss weight by a pound for a title fight. Then given 2hrs to strip more weight. Then physically fuckeddd he had his team mates holding him up to the weigh in whilst cringing in pain... wonder why they called it early. The cheat is in the wrong weightclass full stop

Not making weight in non
Not making weight in non title fights is deliberate and blatant cheating. Till and Wonderboy a perfect example. I dont buy the videos posted by tills camp.
Whittiker took 3 rounds and yoel took 2 rounds. yoel did nothing the first 2 rounds to conserve energy and paid the price for it.
Had he been more busy he would have won as long as he didnt gas out in the latter rounds as he has done previously.
Horn looked out of his depth. no idea how he won against pacman haha

Horn
needs to pocket the 2-3 mil, give up boxing and enjoy life. He isn't in the same class as the top fighters. In Australia, he is tops but not on the world stage.
