Best frequency to use is 200 at your depths, happy hunting Paul.

Generally high chirp when
Generally high chirp when moving around as it bounce around a high frequency range, if you get too much interference then lock it to 200hz

Cheers. tried the 200 but found not much on the bottom , switched it to medium chirp and found it reading real well when on the search and drifting. Will try high chirp out in 120 mtrs tomorrow

Medium chirp might be better
Medium chirp might be better anyway out in 120m, should be a decent cone angle once your out that deep.

Depends on what you are doing
Lower frequency will penetrate the water column further. It will generally have a wider cone angle so you are covering more bottom area but in deeper water you will be less sure of the exact location of lumps.
Higher frequency won't penetrate as far but is better at punching through small disturbances in the water like bubbles etc.
