Have you considered drilling holes in the head to get some smoke trails running below the surface?
The drilled jet heads seem to be the preferred tuna lure. Although we did well on the old xmas trees in exmouth......

if you still work in the meatl industry i can give you a head to copy mate, the dynamite xmas tree lure
going to start making heads outa s/s roundbar will also make some knife jigs just for fun see what i can create

What did you cast the heads in (mold)?
WA based manufacturer and supplier of premium leadhead jigs, fligs, bucktail jigs, 'bulletproof' soft plastic jig heads and XOS bullet jig heads.
