There's several players from other clubs I love watching including Mitchell, Pendles, Sloane and Parker. I'm a sucker for the inside brigade who use the ball well.
Brilliant work by West Coast getting Sam Mitchell for pick 88! Watch Luke Shuey's game go to another level again in 2017, we'll have three brownlow medalists on our list by the end of the season!

If you delve into it Freo have:
Traded their pick 3 for 7 and picked up a 3rd tall without actually having a 1st or 2nd for him to mooch from like he did at GWS.
Trying to trade in a guy that couldn’t get a regular game at Geelong who has one of, if not, the weakest forward lines in the league.
Swapped their best forward for (yet) another soft outside flapper who benefits from being in a champion team full of champions.
They haven't even plugged the gaping holes in their list and are fresh out of draft picks. The moral of the story here is that the club have absolutely no faith in Ro$$ the Toss to build a team and are merely worried about selling 2017 memberships than winning a flag.

For pick 88. Last time we traded pick 88 for a very fast set of legs in Cale Morton who makes Chris Masten look like Jonothan Brown. We aren't doing a list overhaul after a spectacular failure and can afford to cherry pick rather than fill a void bigger than the grand canyon.
Kersten was fit and selected and dropped twice after returning from injury, fact.
McCarthy was the recipient of opposition players trying to double team both Patton and Cameron at the same time and marked many of his goals in 2015 20m out by pushing into the hole they created, fact.
Bradley Hill is a soft outside player and like many before him (Headland, Pearce, Jetta) will get found out when he gets extra attention, well at least he is harder than his whispery soft brother and light as a feather Pearce so I'll give you this one.

Talking about pea hearts in GFs, how many shots on goal did Natalie Fyfe have for his 1 point in 2013? Balla's two point game was my highlight however.
Straight sets doesn't refer to losing an elimination final. By its very definition you cannot have a 'set' of one thing. It commonly refers to when you lose the qualifying final have a second chance in the semis and blow that too. An example of straight sets would be like what happened to the 2015 minor premiers before they finished 15th the year after.

Always interesting how you pick out a Freo example. You see jack in 2013 freo were 1 goal 6 points at one stage in the game. In the same game Ballaz was woeful. But Freo got to within 3 points in the third quarter before losing by 15 points. Here is an Eagles example of failure for you. In 2015 the eagles were also 1 goal 6 points early in the game. So remind me how they responded to that, and what was Jack Darling's contribution like?
