My only question for WC would be having 2 players the same ( in and under mids that dont kick goals might be a negative ) thats my only gripe with Sam....
Mids need to be able to kick 10-20 goals a year now and Sam has prob only kicked 20 in his career and i'd say Priddis aint that far away from that no. either at a guess....
It is great for them to have some quality finally in that team....

Mccarthy is obviously rated by the giants because they played hard ball last year hoping to keep him.
I initially thought pick 3 wtf? But when you look at the totality of the deal, freo win the trade. Which is unusual for freo's recent form in trade week...

People questioned the eagles trading out judd for kennedy. Who ended up with the better deal? Mccarthy is young. I believe Freo now have the first two key forwards taken from that years draft, mccarthy and 8 picks later apeness. Hopefully add kerstan in as a third tall option. Should develop well. Introduce the footskills and speed of bennell, weller and hill (bradley) and wizardry of walters and yarran and things are looking promising.
Now we need a young quality ruckman for sandilands to pass on the batten to.

Des Headland was all those things whilst he was surrounded by champion players in a champion team and got found out very quickly.
Add his history to that and re exposing himself to his peers on a permanent basis may not necessarily be a good thing (look at Harely Bennell) especially considering his previous three run ins with the law whilst on Hawthorn's list.

Lets wait and see jack. Triple premiership player in potentially the best team ever. You dont get to play in those teams if you're not half a player. Bringing him home back to his family could be just what he needs to keep him on track off field. Will have his big brother and his mum to give him a clip behind the ear if he looks like fucking up. Stephen certainly doesnt have any off field issues having been here with family support networks around him. No reason why bradley shouldnt be any different.
Freo are introducing (much needed) youth, speed and skill. The eagles look like introducing the second slowest and one of the oldest players in the league to run alongside the slowest and almost as old player in the league.

GWS now with pick 2 will be used to get their one of their academy guys if Essendon don't rain on their parade, they aren't viewed as part of the actual guys in the draft, so that effectively makes Freo's pick 7 a pick 6.
