Right on mate, its a difficult job trying to moderate as with some people you are unsure whether they are having a joke with each other, or seriously having a go.  Some situations are easy to pick, but its a fine line.

I will certainly be keeping a stricter eye on the site, but if anyone sees or thinks that something is uncalled for, goes too far etc, please contact me via pm, email or phone or any of the moderators so we can keep things civil for everyone.

It is a deterent to some people who are a bit shy to speak up on something if they feel they will be taken to task.

This is a great site and we should keep it that way.

I have been watching on the sidelines for ages

They got rid of a few blokes who made it hard for everyone.

Good on ya sarcasm0, I have noticed alot of xenaphobic posts (anti migrant). I am sure that this site attracts foreignors that are not currently resident in Australia and for hate speech to be on an Australian fishing website is not very good publicity both for the country and the site.

Since the first talk of the new regulations started you were one of the ones right off the bat stating that virtually all of us would be flaunting them, Which the rest of us dont really appreciate. So I guess in some ways this post was for you and others.

Since you want to bring the other thread into it, "Fuck it whats the point" The point is that I dont want several hundred thousand recreational fisherman running their own quasi science experiments on the fish population of Western Australia.

there was a guy who went fishing during the ban. he landed 7 big pinks in two hours the photos were in the local rag. the fish were dead from the looks of it one had a gaff hole and the other had its eye rolled back. he stated he caught and released them. but i dont see the point in catching and releasing for this  very reason. this guy proberby led to the death of 7 pinks for his satisfaction, which doesnt make sense to me. thats why i refused to go out to the grounds that i fish for them off. if this guys was fishing for the future in his mind he has a big problem

Does it piss me off ? yes as I joined this site Purley for fishing and nothing eles.

Adam does a GREAT job IMO.

But if you cant say your mind these days , well what good is having one.

But also some people do take it tooo far as I have Once before but its their IMO.

While this sort of rot happens  this will never just be for fishing IMO.

Last time i knew... That Australia was a democracy..

ie: freedom of speach after all these sites are a place to vent out things.. And not everybody is going to agree on every aspect of every persons pov(point of view, for you old farts that cant keep up with the noughties text talk)

I'd just like to say, i have met sarcasmo and been fishing with him before and he is one of the nicest people i've ever met and i'm pretty sure anyone here would find it hard to argue with him in person.

This one is going no-where and I think the initial intent of this thread has been lost now.

Just remember as said in the first post of this thread-
