Swan River launch sites

Hi guys,
Want to take the family down and around the swan river, looking at launching as south as possible tommorrow, coming from Rockingham into the city, on the Kwinina freeway. Any ideas on what the best ramp is to launch at, where there will be parking, and where my car will be safe for the day?
Any must see spots or dangers for boating around the swan/canning rivers and down to Freo?
Any help appreciated..
Thanks...
Dave

I would look at Deepwater
I would look at Deepwater point boat ramp,,turn left at Canning hwy exit and then left again after you go over the bridge,,has toilets etc,,
All boat ramps will be crowded i would imagine tho

can
be a bit tricky as it is very open to wind and wake from other boats.

we had two tinnies out last night, launched at deepwater point, fished the canning bridge for a few bream and flatties.Went for a squirt down to the narrows and did a lap past the city.returned to boatramp 130 am.Awsome night to putt around river, but be aware of unlit ski markers !
Stop complaining and get on with it !!
