swan river extra salty

Reckon it might be a bumper season this year for fishing upstream. I think the winter drought has left the river awfully salty... normally upstream bassendean way doesnt see blowies til feb/march really but they are already out (at least only in small numbers). Heaps of jellyfish too. I was at garvey park today and even saw a big blue manna cruising along the shallows. Never seen one that far up before!
Has anybody else noticed this? I'm thinking it might be an early mulloway season!

Hehe yeah, about 20 kilos should be solid enough. Time to start putting in the hours I reckon. Good weather for a can or three anyhow...
