swan breaming

Not much of a breamer and wanted to give it a go in the swan....
would anybody be able to let me in on somewhere to give it a go in the swan?

If you are game you could try down near the Barrick St jetty at night time. I would go there mid-week when there are not so many people around. There are some cracking bream under the jetties.
I have been eyeing off AP Hinds Park in Bayswater. There looks to be a few nice spots down there. You can get to it by either Leake St or King William St.
Or you could try Pickering Park in Bassendean.

I fished near Garvey park on
I fished near Garvey park on Sat night and had some success (4 landed) but all were under 25cm (still a good fight on light tackle). Lots of yellow tail as well.
Where is your preferred location (upriver or downriver)

Barrick St jetty would be perfect then
There is a grass patch in between two of the jetties. Set youself up there after dark and cast a lighly weighted, peeled prawn, bluebait or whitebait under the jetties and hang on. You might need slightly heavier leader than normal to get one of those huge bream that live there over the fence.

canoe club
try the jetty at the swan canoe club, i picked up three (two sized at 27 and one under) in about an hour and a half the other week, i just fished strait up and down with half a prawn just a above the weed, once the blowies bugger of there's a fair chance that something worth while is out there seems every time the blowies go of the bite something decent pops up you just gotta percivere with those little buggers just on or after sunset seems to work
