It is amazing to see that
I actually spied a kangaroo in the water wading just north of coral bay one day, he was loving it, the things you see when you go fishing !!

Woke up at Pilgramunna a couple of years back after what could be described as a rather large night, rubbed the eyes and a quick double take and there were 4 emus wading in the shallows of the ramp. Definite WTF moment.

If its in the water, try and catch it
Did you try a popper or soft plastic. Could have been emu steaks and Queenie Fish and chips.

Cool. You didn't to throw a few lures at those long legged,
feathery things. I reckon they would put up one hell of a fight (Lol).

God 45 degrees
this old fat duck would be inside with the a/c like at the moment 38 degrees in Perth and forecast 41 for tomorrow. Noticed the week end is hot also and got the very windy logo on. Would have loved to see the emu on the beach, good day fishing by the looks

Hi Ya,
A number of years ago saw a similar thing at Hamelin Bay right next to the launch ramp. Dopey emu was chasing seagulls like it was a dog.
Cheers.
