Stolen Gear
Submitted by Gary Mangrove on Fri, 2016-05-06 11:17
Some mongrels thieved the GPS and Sounder off my boat Wednesday night. It was locked in the seat box but that didn't stop them forcing the lock.
If anyone sees a Lowrance HDS 10 or a Furuno 620 for sale let me know.

Sorry to hear that mate. Having been down the same road about 8 months ago I appreciate how you are feeling. Trust you are covered by insurance.

Bastards. I've had several items stolen over the years and it shits me to no end... even reading about it.!!
You work hard for your money so you can live and buy a few luxuries only to have it stolen by some wanker.
Hope you get the items returned or if not then your insurance company cover the costs.
My fishing spots are so secret........... even the fish don't know where they are !!

This sort of thing is getting out of hand
You can't talk to any of your friends these days without them telling you about a robbery they have suffered or their neighbour has suffered. Boundary fences (6' hardie fence) doesn't mean a thing to the stealing bastards and padlocks don't even present a challenge to them.
What is a surprise to me is just what is happening to all this gear that is being stolen, you would think (well I do) that if this stuff is being sold locally that at some point of time it would show up in the for sale sections of some papers or some where and then someone would get caught. But you just don't read about people being caught with stolen property so just where is it ending up

eastern states?
Had a good few rods and reels, some new unused, compound bow and accesories stolen , the police sugested it was probably going over east. The damage done to my house was over a thousand dollars, busted a door frame out of the wall to get into my man cave.
Insurance covered less than half the replacment value. rehabilatating criminals doesnt work, lets go back to punishing criminals, maby Singapore style.
