State of Wedge beaches?

Hi all,
Possibly doing a quick run up there early next week for an overnight fish. Has anyone been up there in the last couple of weeks? Is there a lot of weed in the water at the moment?

Lots of weed from
Two rocks to moore river, But colin and i got hammer by tailor in the weed
Plus the weed was in closed [Within twenty feet of the beach] And we used plugs to cast way over the back
If your fishing the bottom with big sinkers Get some big long rod holders
And get the rods high in the air

Cheers Sherbs - if Wedge is a no go then I will definately head up that way somewhere. Sounds like you had fun up there, what with farmers, recoveries and what not.
Nelly - thank you I appreciate the offer - but planning on heading up that way late Monday morning so if I don't hear from someone before then might have to find out the old fashioned way. Plenty of options between here and there if I have to turn around!
