Offshore Stick AMJ - A specialized rod for technical jigging targeting Tuna and Yellowtail, with amazing slimness, lightness, maneuverability, and durability.
AMJ series, which are developed mainly to target tuna and yellowtail, are amazing jigging rods. The blanks are made of mid-high modulus graphite reinforced by kevlar graphite, which conveys angler’s technique to a jig accurately and quickly, and therefore, is optimal for technical jerk, like what is called “Hirado Jerk”.
Soft short tip section, long belly section with high tensile strength, and durable butt section are especially great for a maneuver to flip up a long, center-weighted balance jig and have it stay swimming long. Super high modulus and high strength kevlar graphite used from mid- belly section to butt section is so powerful that it does not allow amberjack to fight back, which runs straight to the bottom at the time of hooking,
