I think quite a couple of members own this reel and was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I might open mine up now and have a look at the washers..

The lightest Coating of cals. Something soft that disperses easily. When you first get your reel it should be fine, If not just take it into your local and they'll sort you out

Sticky drag...

Hi Beau

The stradic drags are easy fix to smooth it out. Alternatively you can replace it with carbontex as well.

We can sort that you if you can drop by next time.

I have 2 stradic 8000 and evry 3 months I serviceclean the drags and also before a major trip such as quobba.I make sure I release the drag between trips . Do this with all my reels. have not had a problem and caught sambos, dhuies and mackies. it is just basic maintenance to ensure my reels last a lifetime.
