We drifted several new lumps and didn't get much other then the usual sargent bakers and rock cods and unbelievable, some coral fish on 8/0 hooks!
A few lumps later, we landed a small sambo that put up a decent fight, then a med size ray about 3ft in dia, a monster flat head, black ass an under sized dhuie and two pinkies, one of them pushing 72cm. All in all can't complain, since all were from new spots.
We go bit off a few times on this trip. Deep water blowies? LOL! Hard hits, pull , hookup then nothing. Literally! Marks on leader.
I did have 2 miss happs though - 1) I lost my bait board, forgot to remove it from the bait holder and 2) Left my brass tap fitting at the wash down area when we cleared the hose!

Well done Alfred & Roger
That's a great looking pinky. Nice and fresh.
Shame about the hose connection. Where did you get your's from? I need to get one instead of washing the boat down at home.
Roger, did you call the Dhuie for a Ray? I did (Hehehe).
Cheers

Thanks guys. Unfortunately
Thanks guys.
Unfortunately the brass connector came in a Pope hose set and can't be bought alone. Mindarie now has the regular taps, so any tap connector will work, but most are plastic and break at the wrong time!
