Sandy doubled up
The weather gods were on our side with the wind predicted to arrive late arvo so we decided to go way further out than we have done up here. Extra jerry of fuel and off we went. Ended up about 30nm out looking for ground but everywhere we tried the pickers were in full force. Hooked up to something big that took some line but after a good fight then lines tangling up the hooks got pulled but going from the fight it was a monster trev. Shortly after another good pull on the line but up came a nor wester .
We decided to move back in a bit and look for more ground which resulted in some nice looking ground 21nm out where we started to get some decent fish before the pickers . A couple of nice grassies came on board and then I got a nice red, nothing huge but it will be dinner. Shortly after on the same drift Sandy hooked up good , she said the reel is getting hard to wind it needs to be greased up. Getting the fish to the boat we found out why it was hard, she had Hooked 2 good size grassies in the same snelled hooks. With a few more drifts we had bagged out and on the way back. Had a great trip back in sitting on about 25 knots all the way. Beating the wind. All up had a great day with a few feeds on the way

Never realy thaught about sounder shots. Will try get some but Usually where we get the good fish you don't see a whole lot . Bait fish light the scren up big time
