Depending on tides and if staying overnight maybe 20M is the minimum. For ease then you can run it through the rings and back to the boat.
Can pull yourself right out to save sitting on the bottom at night, also to depart you can untie and pull rope thru without going ashore to untie knots.
Handy if you have people who cant tie knots or untie etc also
Yes mate very happy, going to launch from Leewin ramp and head to the southern end. Hopefully there will be some moorings available so we can stop in for lunch and a beer!
Have a close look at the mooring diagram because some will tell you that 2 stern anchor points are for one boat but infact each point is for a boat on each side. Ive never failed to get a spot there except maybe Australia day
Yeah book online or wait for the ranger to come round . Or buy an annual pass. The booking moorings/accomodation/admin fees part of the website is shithouse, pretty much unusable on iOS. You need to download google chrome for your browser if using iOS.

Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.

Ive never been able to as when I put my boats details in it has a spin out for some reason.
Probably the easiest way though, save standing in line at the visitor centre
