Try and get one that looks as close to what the river prawns
look like Otoshi. When you use them, let them settle to the bottom and then use a short flicking action so they look like a prawn clicking along.

Prawnstars
Love em. Small or medium one in honey pot go so well it is unreal, the flatties can't resist them. If you use a medium one take the front weight out. As simple as casting, with a slow long rod lift and let it sink again and then leave it on the bottom for about five seconds before moving it again. The flatties I've caught on them either hit it as soon as it starts to move again or hit it on the drop. I'll start another thread with a pick for you.
Three days without it and I get a little jumpy

Here you go Otoshi. Like I said; the flatties love the prawnstars. Sorry about the photo quality, but you can see what I'm talking about.

The shrimpstar is just a smaller version & made by the same company. I suspect they may be better on bream! Anyway otoshi good luck chasing them up & then let us know where we can purchase them.
Good photo soupster & proof that they work!

got them! all three size...
got them! all three size... in BFC cannington. but they r kind of expensive. the small ones cost $11 each? and for something that a blowie can tear up? hmm.. there's not much left there either. after i left, there should be no more then 5 small ones around.
wonder if tackle shack holds any of the small ones in natural and honey pot color and what their price would be?

So they tear up?
That means you wouldnt chuck them in anywhere unless youre a $$$aire! Maybe have to rethink our strategies , mate.
