Plotter data Transfer

Might sound like a dumb question, but can you transfer your data from a plotter to another, and if so how?

Cheers Neels

The Lowrance plotters all take an SD card and you can save all your waypoints and tracks to another unit or your PC. I found a program on the net that changes the waypoint formats between different makes as well.

I fnd some models allow exporting like archie said to a card mine uses compact flash somethimes the manufacturer will have software that allows for conversion of their private format to somethin nomral like CSV files that excell can read. But it will depend on your unit I know  rymarine does it but I could never find an export feature of  my humminbird a few years back it would only do it via special link up cable to PC.
