pink snapper

hey, just got my boat fixed and ready to get out on the water, and i really want to catch a pink snapper where is the best place to look around bunbury and what kind of bottom do they hang around and best time to target them, any info much appreciated

Mate I'm not from Bunbury, but if there are any reef breaks offshore that would be my first port of call and a nice berley trail to get them excited. you'll probably get a decent by catch as well. Other than that your local tackle shop should be able to point you in the right direction. We've always done well early morning.
