P/B JEWY FOR MY SON
Submitted by fisho-ron on Sat, 2010-09-25 19:45
went out today from woodys with a mate and my oldest son,
it was a iery morning out there with the fog, at one stage we could only see 50mtrs in front of us.
the whales were also going nuts today, with full breaching, awsome to watch.
quiet day on the fish front, with not many landed, but my son got his pb jewy to date.
64cm and 4.8kg, so he was stoked.
we managed a few other good fish and also a nor west blowie for me being a first.
quiet day on the water but still better than sittin at home
cheers ron

We got a feed thats all
20+ Big sand whiting two and three at a time had us covered for a feed, then we hit a few lumps with heaps of fish on them and nothing would bite.
Ended up with a couple of good Blackarse and quite a few undersize dhuies and snapper released.
Jeez I tell ya I nearly threw his phone overboard at one stage... the thing never stops ringing. That's why he hardly goes fishing... he's always working.
A top bloke and great company for a days fishing. Always have a laugh when Steve is onboard.
Cheers
