Hey guys

Well today arrived my new Panasonic Lumix TZ5 digital camera. Just wondering if anyone else has this camera or any of it's predecessors and could give me some feedback? pros, cons? things to be wary of? it looks awesome! can't wait to get out and get some good pics. Hoping it will take some great shots.

Thnx

2mg memory card and keep ya m/pixels to about 2.5 and you should get about 1800 pics........i have 1 and only ever clean up the card 1nce a yr...........i still dont know every thing it can do but its pretty easy to use so have some fun.......the only thing i found that sucked was that you cant zoom in while videoing...you have to stop and adjust it then resume recording but other than that its pretty cool hey

Been using their FX 100 for the last 6 months - outstanding lense quality and very easy to use. Like rainbow says, it produces quality results on auto.

When taking high quality images (12 MPs) you need a min. of a 4 Mg memory card to take a reasonable number of images.

Hi Ya,

To be quite honest, the most important part of the camera is the lense.  Without a good lense, it really doesn't matter how good the rest is, you won't get good shots.  But I notice in some write ups on the USA version thay say it has a Leica lense.  While you can buy better you will have to pay three arms, a leg and a head to do so - well it use to be that way don't know whether it still is.  So you should have a reasonable camera.

Well you've had the camera a few days now so how do you like it?

Cheers.
