Opinion on this Rod and Reel.

Well today i was out on an adventure and i came across a Jarvis Walker Integra Gold 10ft rod and reel combo for very cheep. Brand New. Worth getting?

its in balcatta, they have a decent range of fishing gear for a place that you wouldnt expect to have anything.

So is it worth getting or not?

i must agree with adam there. jarvis walker arnt really reputed that highly anymore but they are good for an occasional fish as they do the job. they just dont last as long.

i have a stackload of jarvis walkers at home and i usually just use for storing line but when i take someone fishing i ue them because i dont wan them snagging up my gear..... Wink

i have a JW combo - well the rod at least - the reel used to get the line snagged behind the spool before it finally fell apart. Rod is quite ok but the wind reel foot lock has worn quickly.
