I am looking at buying an 11 foot Penn Spinfisher Big Game Surf Rod. Has anyone had experience with these rods and jow do you rate them?

Ive used one a few years
Ive used one a few years back, not sure 100% if they are still the same but I was quite impressed with them. I knew a guy who was rough as guts when it come to treating his gear, and that rod held up well despite being graphite which can often be "fragile"

heys colin, what are the
heys colin, what are the line classes on these? And since surfs get bashed alot on beaches and rocks, i reckon penn is the go. Cheap, strong, good quality. Just buy it. Its like females shoppin for shoes lol =P
I got the old powerspinn combo 12' 6-10kg with the ps7000 reel and its still going sweet as when i got it. Well i pulled the reel apart and lost the ratchet thingy lol. It was a bad idea to pull my reel apart on the rocks of north mole. Its that ting ting sound of something falling that really did it for me.
