Girlfriend and husband went out, caught a 6kg bolt cutter, thought it was dead, trying to retrieve hook, bit the tip off of her finger, hubbie uses steel traces in Leeman when out fishing especially cray season.

Southern Nor'westers!

My son and I got one while slow trolling a bibbed minnow for tailor and pike over the weed beds in Geographe Bay a couple years ago. We saw the silvery flash and thought we had a monster of a tailor! I suppose we were lucky it didn't bite the lure in half...

Hi Ya,

I've caught "Nor West Blowies" in Flinders Bay, Augusta (or something that looked a hell of a lot like a NWB).

Cheers.
