New to the boating and fishing scene

Hello all, my name is Terry. I was surfing around the net and found this fantastic site and just had to join. Im fairly new to the boating and fishing game so I thought this would be the place to hang out so to speak. My girlfriend and I purchased a Half cabin Pacemaker Ensign 200 20 ft from a mates parents who where no longer able to use it and spent 6 months giving the old girl a birthday. Shes got a Merc 135 HP and all the rest of the goodies to make her a safe ride. We have really been getting into the fishing lately and are looking forward to meeting some experienced fishermen/women to help us out. I will endevour to post up some pics of the boat soon. Hope to chat to you all soon

Regards

Terry

Thanks for the huge welcome, you all sound very freindly. The Crissy drinks sounds like a good time to meet a few of you. Just give us a meeting place and we shall attend with beverages in hand.

Welcome Pacemaker

Wed, 2007-12-12 21:35

Enjoy the site. If you look out for the fishwrecked stickers on boats and cars you'll no doubt spot a few of us around the area. I'm up in Joondalup so I'm sure we will catch up eventually. As the boys have said, any dramas with the site just pm Adam, Tim or me.

Oh and you can join the mighty North of the River team in the next comp.

Cheers

Andy Mac

Be warned ...

Thu, 2007-12-13 12:12

Hi Ya,

... and be careful of that Andy Mac critter!!!  There isn't another soul in this world that will make you as green as fresh mowed grass as quick as he will.  The fish he cstches - and regularly - are astounding!!!  Should be a law against it.

Stuff me he does well.  (can you hear the jealousy?)

Welcome aboard Pacemaker.  Pacemaker because you wear one or because you float in one?

Cheers.

Hi Ya,

"Pick a few brains"!!!  Be warned (again), from me you'd get more if you picked me nose.  LOL   Like dangling a line in the water now and then, but not what you'd call overly successful or expert.

Cheers.
