New Boat

After selling the 26 striper at the start of the year. I wanted to get into beach launching and a more fishing friedly boat. I am currently having one built by Jim at Marine line.
I will be taking pics of the build along the way. Today was day 2 of construction.
Specs will be
7.6M Hardtop with 2.7M beam
300 hp suzuki 4 stroke
Twin Simrad 12 inch NSS EVO2 screens
structure scan
auto pilot
Completion around september

Week 3
boat is starting to take shape quickly. Only 3 weeks of contruction so far by 1 welder.
Boat has now completed construction. On its new trialer and off to paint this week.

Is it like having a house built where the slab walls and roof go up quick but all the details take ages?

Some one has been putting in a lot of hard yakka.
The second photo shows a lot of vertical bits of rod (I think that is what they are) going athwart vessel just in front of each bulkhead what is the reason for having these if you don't mind me asking.
