Hi all,
My name is Hanif and I've booked the Nebraska charter for the Saturday 13th November for some sambo jigging. Wanted to meet some fellow members as I have not had the opportunity to meet many of you yet. Details are here, update the list and repost, will confirm a week before to get deposits etc sorted. Take everything you want
Take everything you want mate, mise well be overly prepared than under. They will have gimble belts and gear that will do the job, but if you got the gear why not bring it. Never been on nebraska john so i cant tell ya.

if I remember correctly the
if I remember correctly the boat only cruises along around 12 knots, so a high speed lure like a ceda plug or a metal slice with a ball sinker in front of it can be trolled behind. Mackies and some tuna like a high speed lure.

Tony i have done some part time work on Nebraska it cruises at 19 knots and 23 knots flat stick from i can remember

Sharks
Yeah I've spoken to Steve, he's bringing some heavy heavy gear if the sharks become a problem.
we will head out to a few of his spots, and also the usual spots around rotto. Will be sending a PM out with mobile numbers and details shortly.
Basically heading out to find some sambos/ajs and trolling for tuna and whatever decides to bust up.
Also for those who don't have gear, he's stocked up on lots of new Pfleuger outfits, and will have jigs on hand.

I got some reels to catch em
I got some reels to catch em but i duno if i wana bring all my jigging rods my trolling rod my flicky for tuna and some big gear. Will leave you guys to the sharks im goin for the jigging and simply just a day out on the water with some fishwecked crew.
