Morning Fish April 18 2009
Ventured out to Flatrock again this morning to de-stress after a long week. I met up with Sherbs, Uncle Stu and Andy just on daybreak. Great company guys. I look forward to further expeditions.
Conditions were pretty perfect and we burley'd up with the controvercial SPESS brew for what looks like chook pellets but probably tastes far worse. LOL. Herring came on the bite immediatly and I had 2 or 3 in the bucket before the others even got a line in the water. Everyone got into the action (except Andy of course). No sign of anything else so I tried some popping and slicing for a while. No results there so back to feeding Herring.
Sherbs managed a nice Flathead. That was a nice suprise. Herring getting reeled in one after the other. The guys packed up a bit after 9am and we divided the Herring into large and small. Large for a feed and small for Andy's Exmouth trip.
All in all a great morning. Thanks guys.
Sorry about the quality of the pics. It's about setting the scene more than anything.

Andy mentioned
that he caught a shedload of herring and you old buggers couldn't keep pace with the young bull.
Looks like a good morning for it.

There is a good reef
There is a good reef 2kms north of two rocks and flatrocks is 2 or 3 kms further on .You need a fwd as some of the tracks are quite sandy .Some one should organize an overniter the last one was a blast
Cheers Uncle Stu

I'd recommend a 4WD
I dont think a fwd would be much chop on the beach......unless you have the worlds best Barina or Festiva!

Good stuff Vince/Guys
Hey, the pictures do it for me. Sounds like you guys had a great fun - no doubt helped by Spess's bew. Hopefully, when the next lot comes around, I'll be able to get some.
