moore river help please

goin to guilderton caravan park hopefully on 29th to the 1st gonna be doin loads of landbased fishing cause i dnt hav boat but just wandering wheres better to fish the beach the mouth or the river is there loads of bream and will my sx40f and tt vibes work in the river there???
any help much appreciated cheers

yeah, I found that sx-40s
yeah, I found that sx-40s where a great lure up there,
but, my most successful lure up there was the smith luna 47s (sinking model)

i mainly fish for bream with it, but have caught a vast variaty of by-catches on it, including flatties, tailor, herring, grunter, salmon trout. and up at exy, fishing the flats, i caught spanglies, bluebone, cod, whiting, sharks, and a whole lot of other species.
it is slow sinking and 47mm long.

Went up there a few weekends
Went up there a few weekends back. Never seen so many boats in such a small area! Dont know what the deal with the hire boats are but most of the skippers had no idea of what they were doing.
As for fishing in the river, i lucked out totally. Caught one tiny bream and another fish that looked similar to a trumpeter but wasnt.
Cant wait for the river to burst its banks.

Weedy
Was up there a couple of weeks ago and the river worked well for the kids about a km up river on the base of the sand dunes.
As for the beach, lots of weed. Blew offshore then the weed went by by but no tailor. Tonnes of herring where 4x4 access is to the beach. If you dont have a 4wd just walk left from beach access. I had whole baits out just getting stripped by herring in minutes. Caught a couple of bull herring on 4o gangs.
