mixed bag!!!!

just thought i throw a photo in from mine and mitchs last trip ,we needed a couple more muddies to to do the chilli mudcrab and solly to make it ,but we could only drag ourselves away from the islands for about half a day. one of those jacks was pulled from the creek in about 1m of water and the other from the reef .

but yet you can't tell the difference by looks or taste.

here is some more from our last trip it is a little cold as the photo were taken the day after.
this one was caught at night (about 2030) while pete was cooking dinner (on the floor of the boat)
snapper burgers cooked in beer and garlic (forgot the butter),
one power ball and i'm back there.

poor pete he tried so hard but just couldn't beat the men in grey.
and about two minutes after this photo was taken rumpy hooked the shark and pulled it to the surface only for pete to see it spit out the other half of his trout (the only one he got for the trip) we still managed to get him a feed off it though.

Looks like you guys have a fair bit of luck targeting the old coral trout!  Looks like a bloody good feed in that first photo, all the staples of a healthly diet, beer, crab and fish.
