I found your thread about building a trailer. I was looking at one of the Billy plug 7.5's on Saturday. Pretty boat.
How did you go about getting the design? Did you buy a package that came with drawings or did you get the design from the man himself?
I am trying to see details but all I can get from builders is scanned PDF's GA's which are useless for the detail I want (I want to know if I can sleep in the cab hence wanting dimensions)
Bill doesn't deal with the public, and his cut files only cover hull plates, frames, transom, foredeck and cabin sides. Long story short I did a knee so got a boat builder I know to make a start with that. Bill works for the same mob as I do. A lot of work on top of that first bit, I'm lucky I have good mates in the game but it's still a long slog.
Loving it but a long way to go, trailer is as far as I can go until hull sits on it.
To be honest other than satisfaction and time Oceanic is the go.

must have been a good product and proper risk to their production to shut it down like when Toyota and GM were buying patents for electric vehicles.
