If you're not buying name
If you're not buying name brands, you're just getting crap.

Have only bought metals and
Have only bought metals and squid jigs off Ebay, still catch fish/squid but only last you two seconds before rusting out or falling apart.
Like the fella's said, stick to the better brands.
I actually bought a pack of 3 Halco Twistys from Kmart cheaper than 3 Ebay metals once you include postage! And they're still catching fish with no signs of wear.

sambo jigs ok??
I have bought a few pelagic knife jigs about 400gm rigged with Mustad hooks in five packs for an average of $5 delivered per jig. They seem to work as well as others compared to my other jigs and people around with more branded stuff.
not sure how long the sambos have a winning record vs me recently...
not saying any other cheapo gear is good, most is rubbish.

if you want to buy lures/jigs ....
go see Honsu at Oceanside Tackle - he will hook you up...
if you want to shop online...i also get my jigs/lures from
startackle.com
www.fishingbuddy.com.sg
With the strong AUD you can get them at a reasonable price even after postage.
As the other guys said stick with the branded ones. They are better built and last longer.
Lures go Yozuri-Duel, Halco, Rapala, Evergreen etc
Hope that helps.
