What is everyone doing for the long weekend??
Metro?? Traveling??
Any spots worth a try??
Been heading to flatrocks every weekend would love
to meet some new people that go there often.

Might get the boat out Monday
and dodge the showers. The winds look to be "OK". But its changed dramatically from yesterday, so who knows.....
If all else fails, drink a shedload of grog, watch footy and play poker with the boys.

Fly to New Zealand on a skiing holiday Sunday
. Wouldnt mind trying to get a few fly fishing lessons in while Im over in NZ too.

Be prepared
Fly fishing there is not a cheap caper. You have to get a license (more a nusiance than costly) and getting fly casting lessons is a killer (a guide is upwards of NZ$500 a day).
But great fun!! Fished there once (no guide) and caught a trout so I was chuffed. Didn't rate the cold though......on my list to re-visit.

Yep season opened early this year, opened about 2 weeks ago, will let you know when we get home in 2 weeks how much snowfall etc.

Weather looks kind of ordinary but with Easterlies Monday I may well brave it up there. The wife gets out of hospital Sunday after a major operation so I am not sure what the go is at the moment. Let's hope she gets heaps of visitors and gets sick of me.. LOL The feeding charts are not that promising either but the dog needs the run so what the heck.....
Oh, and BTW, watch the beach. I was up there last weekend and there is no way after the storm the beach is safe to 4x4 on. Maybe it has settled now but be very careful or take lots of beer for towing favours.

Fishing
Driving back from Canarvon on Sat night and then going camping down to 14 mile or Sandy point depending on how good the weather is. If it goes so-so then staying local and trying to get a billfish or three.
