This might well be my last post as a single man. Today is my last day at work before I get married on Saturday. I am taking next week off and heading down to Augusta for our honeymoon, a lot of relaxation after planning this bloody wedding and hopefully a little bit of fishing. I am taking down my new tinnie that I bought off Mako Magic. Cant wait to try it.
Any last minute fishing recommendations down around Augusta?

youmight get some king george near the mouth of the river
if the swells down and the winds light head to canal rocks boat ramp and blast out there, but exercise caution and by a marine chart. ya dont have to go far, youl get good fish 200m out
struth, better get a beer then

My Missus would kill me...
Gee Gus. LOL Augusta is a small place. In my younger days my mates would hunt me down on my honeymoon if they had an incling of where I was headed. Find the secluded esturay bits. A bit of nookie on the banks in between a good bream session could work. LOL

Wedding song...
...they asked us what song we wanted for our wedding and I had two ideas: "Highway to Hell" and "This is the End of the World as We Know It". We ended up having to go with some stupid John Farnham thing....

Good luck Gus
a fishing honeymoon is spot on - took the first wife to Coral Bay - she got sunburned so as she was too sore to play i went out on the charter. Took the second wife to Port Gregory. Great honeymoons but neither would go goat shooting on the way home - spoilsports.
