Landbased suggestion needed

I am planning on taking my 14 yo daughter fishing tomorrow night. I am hoping that someone maybe able to suggest somewhere north of the river that would be worth a crack for some landbased fishing.
Looking forward to some good suggestions.
Many thanks Colin Hay

That was what I was thinking

Thanks guys. I was also thinking of trying inside the Marina, near the restaurant and the end of the boat pens. I have never tried there, but it looks like a likely place for some bream, and maybe even some choppers.

Appreciate your suggestions. All the best Colin Hay

good spot there colin, can work for you but the blowies may hassle you on the inside...

but yeah there is bream and the usual suspects there.. you can even try on the outside of that smaller hillarys wall for skippy and the likes... usually get choppers and whatnot out there in the evening too!

Hi Andrew, where is the crop at North Beach and do you mean the groyne in front of the surf club at Cott.

Hi Rickets. Do the blowies drop off on the inside area after dark. I know they can be hell on nthe oceanside of the Hillarys north wall before dusk.

Many thanks for your information. Regards Colin Hay

In the end she decided not to go as she received her first pay packet and just had to go shopping.
I had to get by with goiong down to Floreat this morning. What a beautiful morning. Quite a few herring around, no tailor unfortunately.
