Jurien bay vs Esperance Need Advice
Submitted by SIMARA 1 on Thu, 2010-01-21 19:00
G'day
looking for some advice. I've got to make up mind on whether to go to Esperance for the 2010 fishin classic or go to my clubs fishing event to Jurien Bay. I was planning to go to both although work is to flat out. Been to Esperance before and I know fishing is good.... I've never been to Jurien but heard its good fishing. both events are in March.
If someone could give me the heads up on the better of the 2 or simply the pros and cons it would help me make up my mind. thanks

Jurien bay. less time on the road so more time fishing. there are some great fishing grounds out from there , just type in jurien in the search section and heaps of info will come up

Can't speak on Esperance...
...but Jurien that time of year would be a real goer. Generally the calmest time and the warmer water means spaniards and tuna are around in big numbers. If it's bottom fishing you want, it's as good a place as any for dhufish, baldies, pink snapper.
I was planning to go there in April but might try a month earlier this time!
