All good!! That looks fine.
All good!! That looks fine. Maybe the connoisseurs might find some faults, but I have seen them eat a Sidchrome spanner with an assist hook!!

My only concern is that
My only concern is that hook's gape may be a little narrow, looks like it could stick on the jig pretty easily.

Your hooks are fine
the same most people have used for years without dramas. Some people just over complicate a very very easy fishing.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

source some shout assist
source some shout assist guard http://www.shout-net.com/english/parts/assist-guard/assist-guard.html
designed to stop the hook wrapping around the jigs.
even then you're getting too fancy for them. If you miss a strike im sure there will be another..

what size sidchrome spanner
what size sidchrome spanner was that steve??
do you think they'd take a repco???
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Anything that sinks quick
Anything that sinks quick Graham, 12mm or better I would say!!
Brand not important, unless you strike a patch of fussy fish!!
