Insurance for a Stage 1 Boat

Does anyone know of an insurance company that will insure an aluminium boat that is at stage 1 (all hot works complete and ready for fitout). I have just got a new boat and trailer and doing the fit out myself and was hoping to insure it for theft or accident while travelling . I have to take it back down south from Perth. Most of the standard boat insurance companies will only insure a finished boat. Any help would be much appreciate.

I couldn't find anyone to do it, but possibly head to a business insurance broker?

Had same situation, spoke with Club Marine Freo - absolutely no joy because they wanted boat bought to their address for valuation.  Ended up calling Rod at Joondalup Boat Shack, also Club Marine agent.  He knew the boat builder and organised no drama over the phone.  A few years ago now!
