how many hours before trading in??

just wondering at what hours or how many years old should you trade your old outboard motor in to get best deal on a new one???

I change mine every 3-5 years, depends on the warranty period of the motor, Tho I do all the work myself!

i wouldnt bother these days. you will never get your money's worth out of a motor if you trade in. your best to keep the motor as long as its running good why change. as the old saying goes. if it aint broke dont fix it

My tohatsu is about 25 years old, still goes well. Arthur page does the service when it's due. So don't see the need to get another one

his 100hp Marine in 92 still fantastic motor, all maitenance etc down professionally, still purrs along, trolling runs on 2 cyclinders, yes must agree with that saying Russ "If it ain't broke don't touch it."
