How did you all go last night?

It is pretty bloody windy at my place - and we are well protected from sou and nor westers - so I was wondering how everyone else went. Hopefully no-one suffered too much damage,
All the best, Colin Hay

I could here things thudding
I could here things thudding to the ground, probably fences or trees.
Lucky its not bin day. The wind pushed a gate a foot with a 50 kilo cement mixer jammed up against it.

Woke up to leaves everywhere and the banging in the night
of trees, palm trees all creaking and groaning. I think I was woken every 2hrs last night rain, wind and some hail. Love tin roofs, but not in the middle of the night, hope the dams are getting plenty of run off. Just heard 10,000 homes are without power and gale force wind warnings and high tides at 9.00am.

Wind wasn't too bad in Dawesville
Live only 500m from beach at Dawesville, but suprisingly not that bad down this way. Couldn't see any damage or tree's down on the way to work. I could hear the waves smashing on the reef @ Melros beach big time!

My driveway
now has has ruts in it 150mm deep and the gravel is in the bottom paddock - and i couldn't care less as my tank was down to the last foot of water. The issue is did we get 24mm as my rain gauge said or 84mm as the neighbours showed?
