home made teasers
Submitted by Markie on Mon, 2010-10-25 22:14
Looking at making a teaser just something basic for mackies and tuna as i will only be doing a couple trips next year and dont really want to spend money on buying teasers if i dont own a boat. Any suggestions how and what to use?

As dano said
Get your self some 300 lb line and some old cd's and some corks.
use the corks as stopers about every meter to spac e out cd.s
I just used a bird at the start an a couple of squids filled with small ball sinkers at the rear just enough to keep it tracking strait and in the water..

dont get to complicated
go to bunnings and grab about ten meters of the cord they use in blinds and 12 small stainless washers that the cord will just fit thew. Then go to the local tackle shop and grab half a dozen glitterbug floats and a few large crimps then it is as easy as crimp then washer then float then washer then crimp leave a half meter then do it agian. It will all just roll up and straight in the tackle bag job done.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

OLD TABLESPOONS !!!!
I linked some old Table spoons together - Put each one off a snap swivel in a line of about 6 . Kept them about a metre apart ...
Just drill small hole in the end of the handle and clip them up !
Just put a small star sinker on the end of the chain to keep them straight
Worked a treat on Macks and YFT copule of years ago !
If everyone concentrated on the best things in life .... There would definately be a shortage of Fishing Rods !!!
