Help finding the tuna and mackies

Hey guys, just want to know what depth the tuna seem to be getting caught at the moment and if any mackies are getting caught at the three mile? Any info appreciated

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Hi mate

was out on Sunday at 3 mile - saw about 4 other boats trolling and didnt see anyone luck in.  We trolled from about 7am until nearly 9 - had a lot of issues with weed -there was stacks! but no hits, no birds, no surface action :-(

We anchored up and ran a few mulies out on balloons and sunk a few -still nothing (no shortage of balloons on the water - i think they were let go ffrom shore for a remembrance for the NZ earthquake victims as they were all white and black -heaps of them)

couldnt have picked a better day either - was dead flat - headed over to Carnac for lunch about 12pm empty handed

:-(

Tuna were everywhere today from rotto to the furthest fad. Shame the marlin weren't as common!
