how the hell can this guy possible get off??? what loop-holes exist to allow a bottom net trawler to take scallops, possible V5 bottom fish and anything else snagged of the Perth Metro coast.
I agree the boat should be scuttled and used as FAD for fishing.
Proceeds of the catch and all of the heavy fine money should be put back into fish research for WA.

Cant help themselves can they, all they see is dollar signs! There will always be someone that thinks they can do what they like and the rules dont apply to them! Great to see them caught. The fines are to low. Take the boat and sink it!
This is why fisheries guys aren't always at the ramp checking the recs, gotta try and get these guys that are doing some serious damage! (also sparse resources too)
