Got myself a new fish taming device!

Well I decided to have a little upgrade! Earlier this year I upgraded from a TLD25 to a AVET MXL 6.3, however still I wasnt completely satisfied.

After getting out fishing with Chezza on the southern leg of the comp and seeing the ease of use with his gear, I decided to follow suit.

And bought myself a new ACCURATE Magnum Boss 870 2 speed. She's spooled with 50lb tuff line and waiting to go catch the big one.

Now if I could only talk the other half into letting me spend up on another rod

ratios

Ratio's are 6:1 and 3:1 easily handling 25lb drag pressure also has cast control knob on opposite side of the reel.

Nice to have something with the bling handle as well for once.

Considering

Considering the $$ spent I would hope it lasts me for many years to come if well looked after. And very versatile application wise too as I know Chezza has used his for beach casting as well.

$$$$

Put it this way I got a special deal on the price. But as a guide a single speed version will set you back around $700 and I paid more than that.

I was going

I was going to use ebay to begin with, but when spending top dollars I figured it was best to go to a reputable tackle store . You dont have the delay's with postage and you get your warrenty cover as well.

Shop local! Works best for me.... bugger ebay just ask your local for a good discount and they will look after you after a while! Sales are the go as is price matching when sales are on. Jimbo1 im glad you did the local thing just incase there is a problem you will get the support on that expensive reel that you will need. Touch wood. :)

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!
