good day for us

myself, my oldest son troy and my mate maz went for a fish today for the first time since the ban finished,

the plan was to get some live squid and hit the fads!

got out to the fads and nothin touching the livies so while out there we went for a jig as well.

glad we did with hookups on every drop, troy gets the biggest for the day and maz's not far behind, while mine was a tad smaller.

no shark problems for us today.(every boat out there was hooking up and there was alot)

we only stayed out there for a couple of hours as we wanted some better fish to eat.

only down fall while out there was troy highsticked my monster mesh rod and snapped a foot of the end(not happy jan)

tried a few spots back in a bit shallower only to get a big blackass and some other shit.

headed in to a spot i have in 28mtrs and troy pulls in his new pb jew just over 8kg, on a 100g knife jig.(jaggy prick)

all in all a good day for us for a change. in weather that was a bit lumpy

cheers

your not wrong paul

i only went to the outer bardge because we were right there at the fads, other wise i wouldnt of bothered either.

we did not try any other bardges at all.

we got into a few and then pushed on for the good stuff, my mate had never hooked anything like it before so he was wrapped.

but i am not happy with my troy braking my rod....he can buy his own from now on....i kept telling him to lower the tip down.

he is just lucky it wasnt my xzoga!!!!

shit happens.

Sounds like an enjoyable day, good to see the sambos stretching some arms rather than sharks. Nice pics Ron!
